MIKAEL LÖFSTRÖM

 
is Interior designer SIR/MSA, educated at Lund University, 

Interiør Arkitekt Skolen, Copenhagen and Konstfack, 

University College of Arts Crafts and Design, Stockholm.

Being an interior designer you have to take overall respon-

sability for the room as a whole. Still you can work indepen-

dently designing one or several of the building stones of a 

room, such as furniture, rugs, tiles, fabrics etc 

Parallel to leading his own design studio Mikael Löfström

was Associated professor at Linköping university, 2001 -

2003 and Visiting professor at Linköping university, Carl 

Malmsten Furniture Studies, 2005-2010.
